Job Description:
Ackermans has a new challenging opportunity for a HR Manager looking after the Remunerations and Benefits portfolio. We are looking for a resilient, efficient and influential individual with retail experience. This individual will provide the specialist advice, support and leadership, to enable maximising of company performance and profitability in line with strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the short-term incentive bonus process
- Lead the education of employees on Remuneration and Benefit matters to improve employee satisfaction and retention
- Oversee annual salary review processes
- Devise remuneration solutions for specific issues in bordering countries that suit business model while addressing needs
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of job evaluation within the organisation
- Lead and develop reward practices
Job Requirements:
- Ability to recommend fit for purpose reward solutions , based on best practice and insights that is derived from research, to enhance the Ackermans value proposition
- Ability to influence key stakeholders within the business
- Deadline driven
- High Levels of Computer literacy – advanced Excel
- Interpersonal skills/awareness
- Analytical approach to work and a high level of attention to detail
Qualification & Experience:
- Accredited by the South African Reward Association (SARA)
- Global Remuneration Practitioners (GRP) certification
- Degree or Diploma with 5 years related experience in the remuneration/compensation field
