Job Description:
We produce high-grade iron ore, the key component in steel widely used in construction and manufacturing across the world. Our activities include all aspects – exploration; mining; processing and blending; shipping; marketing and selling. In South Africa, we have mining operations in the Northern Cape province, as well as a head office in Centurion, Gauteng, and a port operation in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organise and coordinate all visits of consultants and other providers for the Engineering department, according to procedures
- Book meeting rooms, catering and equipment
- Taking minutes for HOD’s meetings
- Process Requisitions & SAP orders
- Compile various monthly for purposes of providing feedback to relevant stakeholders
- Assist team members with time related activities.
- Log invoices received and submit to accounts for payment
- Reconcile general and travel expenses in line with company policy.
- Perform expense reconciliation and invoice administration.
- Perform effective and efficient general office administration such as diary management and order processing thus contributing to the achievement of the team objectives.
- Process all documentation according to company policies and procedures as well as document control principals, within specified set time frames to ensure compliance.
- Compile, coordinate and monitor the Engineering’s HOD department calendars
- Provide general admin support as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate / N3 Technical
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Secretarial Diploma or N6 Management Assistant
- Ability to analyse and prioritise
- Ability to deal with clients in a professional manner.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Personal Assistant role at Executive level
