Job Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for a FINANCE PROJECT MANAGER for a 12-MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT at SPITZ in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The purpose of the role is to support the Spitz Group Finance team by assisting with and/or project managing various finance-related projects. The role will also assist the Spitz Group Finance team with month-end, year-end, forecasts and budgets if/ when required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up project meetings to manage team members and provide frequent updates on the progress
• Summarise project work and outcomes in written formal project summaries
• Perform detailed analysis and research (e.g. IFRS) where required
• Set up and communicate project plan to ensure deadlines are met
• Overseeing/assisting with projects as requested by the Financial Director and Senior Finance Manager

Job Requirements:

• Documenting Facts
• Financial, analytical and reporting skills (IFRS knowledge)
• A clear understanding of financial controls and the importance of data integrity
• Attention to Detail
• Advanced Excel

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 1 years’ post articles experience
• Articles completed at one of the Big 4 Audit firms highly advantageous
• CA (SA)
• Previous Project management experience
