Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Development Technologist at I&J, Head Office, Cape Town. The purpose of this role is to develop concepts for new & existing products & processes for Export or Local Market as per NPD Brief and to take the projects through to commercialization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quality Management
- Continuous process improvement
- Responsible for staying abreast of new trends, processes and ingredients for Local and International Markets as well as any scientific issues that may impact or be of relevance to I&J business
- Proactively form part of relevant industry groups to get exposure to new trends, processes and products in the marketplace
- Develop a robust innovation pipeline.

Qualification & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in a similar environment
- With crumbed and battered experience
- Frozen food experience Advantageous
- Btech Food Technology degree or BSc Food Science Degree
