Broadreach Recruitment – Provincial Technical Advisor

Job Description:

Support Mpumalanga Department of Health (MPDoH) in areas of Strategic Health Planning, Operational Planning, Programme planning and performance reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with BroadReach staff and Province programme managers toward attainment of set targets
• Carry out bottleneck analysis during provincial site visit in support of quality improvement measures
• Provide technical support in performance reviews, HAST programme meetings, nerve center meetings, Operation Phuthuma and any performance data preparation required for this platform
• SQL Database administration and using appropriate tools to generate analytics for routine indicators and build dashboards to assist with program decision making
• Support Monthly programmatic feedback meetings and reviews for the 3 Districts (Case finding, TROA, Decanting/CCMDD, Missed appointments, Viral load management, TLD, PMTCT)
• Establishment and coordinating the efforts of a Technical Work Group (TWG) to assist with troubleshooting and unblocking of obstacles to implementation

Job Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• Ability to navigate culturally diverse environments
• Qualitative and quantitative research methodology
• Data base Administration certification. Up to 8-years analytical experience. Preferably in the health care sector
• Ability to perform basic data analyses and inferences using appropriate software

Qualification & Experience:

• At least 5 years’ experience managing and analyzing large HIV/TB datasets and developing customized reports
• Up to 7-10 years’ experience working on MS SQL, TIER.NET, Excel, DATIM, DHIS and Synch
