Job Description:

To commission and ensure the efficient running / operation of the Oracle databases and server software within Capitec Bank.

Job Requirements:

• Oracle security management
• Understand and support Oracle Advanced Security and Unified Auditing
• Both database and system performance tuning
• Migrations of databases to other platforms and other databases.
• Oracle data integrity
• Understanding of SQL code

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology – Systems Engineering or Information Technology – Computer Science
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Oracle database administration and design
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology – Systems Engineering or Information Technology – Computer Science
• Proven ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
