City of Ekurhuleni Vacancies – Pharmacist Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a multi -disciplinary team and collaborate inter-sectorally for effective people management
• Render comprehensive professional dispensing service to improve the health status of the community.
• Provide comprehensive facility based and depot based pharmaceutical services.
• Collect and files all medical related statistics in clinic dispensaries and submit to Pharmacist.
• Provide quality pharmaceutical services which is responsive to the needs of the clients/patients within the ambit of the values and guiding principles of the organization as well as the pharmacy profession and specialized scope of practice
• Implement good governance and risk control process to ensure compliance to legislation, policies and guidelines
• Implement effective stock and financial control process to ensure effective utilisation of resources.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s license will serve as an added Advantage
• Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant (NQF Level 5)
• Computer Literacy
• Relevant Experience Acquired through Practical Training.
