Job Description:
We are looking for a Compliance Specialist (CS) – MEA, who will be an integral part of Deutsche Post DHL´s Compliance Organization. The CM supports the implementation of the Compliance and Data Protection Management System in DGF MEA and reports to the DGF MEA Regional Compliance and Data Protection Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop country compliance/data protection initiatives
- Stimulating buy-in on compliance as a business priority
- Support the implementation of Compliance Management System (CMS) and data protection program for DGF MEA
- Assist RCO in oversight and monitoring of the implementation of local country operations
- Monitoring of compliance risks derived from the country workshops
Job Requirements:
- Ability to build and manage relationships and agreements
- Assertive & ability to influence with thoughtful decisions
- Excellent command of English (written, verbal, comprehension), Arabic/French will be an added advantage
- Well-organized and methodical (good at planning and prioritizing)
- Able to manage several tasks/issues under pressure (Have a keen sense of timing, patience, and the ability to act quickly when required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Qualification & Experience:
- 2-3 years experience in corporate environment/experience in a legal or compliance preferred
- Minimum of a university degree
