Job Description:

Dis-Chem Pharmacies require a Casual Merchandisers for their Chatsworth Store. You will ensure that basic Dis-Chem merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Your responsibilities will also lie in providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Report low stock levels, out-of-stock items, damaged stock and expired stock to management
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular, FIFO basis
• Keep abreast of current and new products
• Adhere to Dis-Chem’s operating standards, store layout and planograms
• Assist with counting of stock files and general stocktaking
• Ensure the full range of products is on the shelves at all times
• Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained
• Report all price discrepancies to management
• Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times, with correct labels and pricing

Job Requirements:

• Effective engagement with customers, management and staff
• Trustworthy and honest
• Presentable
• Time management
• Strong command of the English language

Qualification & Experience:

• At least 1 year retail experience
• Up to 6 months’ retail experience
• Willing and able to work retail hours
• Computer literate – MS Office
• Grade 12 / Matric
