Job Description:

Responsible for designing, planning and implementing logistics solutions, whilst managing stakeholder (internal & external) expectations throughout the solution design and implementation phase.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide input to annual Solutions Business Plan and Strategy Development
• Manage and Report on Cost Saving and Sigma Initiatives
• Identify and Implement SIGMA Initiatives
• Leading & influencing a diverse group through planning and/or problem solving activities as required, including Advance Quality Planning (AQP) sessions
• Obtain update on performance against plan quarterly, to ensure focused activities are always supporting business objectives
• Reasonable local travel requirement to use knowledge, skills and experience in support of relevant DSV business objectives

Job Requirements:

• Detail Orientated and Analytical
• Aptitude to multi-task & employ effective problem solving abilities
• Excellent written & verbal communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills & able to work in a collaborative & team-based environment
• Ability to travel around Gauteng, South Africa
• Unendorsed license & own transport

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years operational experience, development experience will be advantageous
• Minimum 2 years with effective staff performance management & development
• Minimum 3 years in the Logistics Industry
• Minimum five years or more relevant logistics & supply chain management experience
• Minimum 3 years in route planning and Optimization Supply Chain Optimization
• Minimum 3 years in the logistics Industry
