Job Description:
Responsible for designing, planning and implementing logistics solutions, whilst managing stakeholder (internal & external) expectations throughout the solution design and implementation phase.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide input to annual Solutions Business Plan and Strategy Development
- Manage and Report on Cost Saving and Sigma Initiatives
- Identify and Implement SIGMA Initiatives
- Leading & influencing a diverse group through planning and/or problem solving activities as required, including Advance Quality Planning (AQP) sessions
- Obtain update on performance against plan quarterly, to ensure focused activities are always supporting business objectives
- Reasonable local travel requirement to use knowledge, skills and experience in support of relevant DSV business objectives

- Detail Orientated and Analytical
- Aptitude to multi-task & employ effective problem solving abilities
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills & able to work in a collaborative & team-based environment
- Ability to travel around Gauteng, South Africa
- Unendorsed license & own transport
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years operational experience, development experience will be advantageous
- Minimum 2 years with effective staff performance management & development
- Minimum 3 years in the Logistics Industry
- Minimum five years or more relevant logistics & supply chain management experience
- Minimum 3 years in route planning and Optimization Supply Chain Optimization
- Minimum 3 years in the logistics Industry
