Job Description:

Work within a marketing and communications department of a leading security company. The recruit will be based in the Johannesburg office (Midrand). This role will be responsible for the co-ordination of tactical marketing activities. This includes physical and administrative elements of events, promotions, roadshows etc. The position will report directly into the Inland Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing of tactical marketing activities. This includes promotions, event scheduling, set ups, cost management and management thereof
• Creating visibility of internal and external marketing events and activations
• Assist with developing collateral to support marketing activities and campaigns
• Drive the promotions and events function to ensure successful measurable campaigns
• Create and maintain relationships with agencies and vendors (briefing of artwork and promotional items, promotions and events)
• Branding for events and promotions to ensure visibility of the brand

Job Requirements:

• Negotiation skills
• Time management
• Budget management
• At least three years’ experience in events, promotions and activations
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Relationship management
• Marketing and or events qualification
