FNB Call Centre Jobs – Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Job Description:

To provide expertise, advice and support through the design and implementation of information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure of the organization. To ensure that all systems are working at optimal levels and support the development of new technologies and system requirements in order to continuously enhance service delivery

Job Responsibilities:

• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines in order to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
• Prevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs
• Create detailed plans for the integration of new systems architecture into existing infrastructure
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
• Recommend alternative Recommend alternative technologies and improvements to enhance information systems
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within Wesbank and/or across the FRG

Job Requirements:

• Strategizing, planning and execution ability for a digitization and modernization journey: Migrate from a complex AS-IS infrastructure setup to a simplified Cloud deployment.
• Ability to set Infrastructure standards and best practices, including tool choices like Ansible
• Ability to audit an existing infrastructure environment with an aim to highlight risks, challenges and opportunities, as well as assess maturity of infrastructure management practices

Qualification & Experience:

• Solid experience in infrastructure and operations with at least 5 years of architecture experience and Cloud Technology experience.
• Relevant post matric industry certifications
• Relevant degree in Computer Science
