FNB Internship – Business Intelligence Manager

Job Description:

Provide management information system improvements and standardised procedures. Recommends suitable data processing applications and software. Manages Business Intelligence service delivery and coach and mentor analyst.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the Information Management strategy to exchanges Business Intelligence and ensure execution of strategy and plans by team
• Develop a BI service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service
• Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency
• Support and implement a cycle of medium-term improvements to drive profitability and strategic objectives through BI
• Comply, understand and implement all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lead and plan team capacity, develop strategies and roadmaps
• Track record of project delivery
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Willingness do jump in and assist technically when required
• Ability to own and deliver projects within team

Qualification & Experience:

• Honours degree in statistics, actuarial science, mathematics, computer science or engineering.
• 5+ year’s relevant ICT/MIS experience, preferably 2 years managing a team.
• ETL experience (MS, Teradata, Abinitio)
• SQL experience (MS, Teradata)
