Job Responsibilities:
Plan and design both print and electronic departmental publications according to the GPC corporate identity. Design/create graphics to meet specific promotional needs such as newsletters, pamphlets, booklets and other marketing collateral. Provide proper uploading of information on the website and update timeously. Produce promotional material according to the rorammes and services of the department. Monitor provision of design and development of promotional strategies for the department. Coordinate, advertising and communication programmes and campaigns. Review the effectiveness of all external messages
Job Requirements:
Grade 12 plus National Diploma (NQF level 6) /Bachelor Degree (NQF level 7) in the relevant field web master and graphic designer as recognized by SAQA. 3 – 5 years relevant technical experience. A valid code 08/10 driver’s license. No criminal record or cases pending against you. Knowledge and Skills: Relevant legislations and public service regulations. Relevant Traffic and Safety legislations and GPG legislations. Understanding of the department’s strategic objectives. In-depth knowledge of political and parliamentary processes. Project management. Knowledge and information management. Knowledge and Understanding of the PSP and RSP. Knowledge and understanding of departmental strategic priorities and programmes. Intergovernmental and Stakeholder relations management. knowledge of advertising and promotions. knowledge and understanding of the target market – various Gauteng community needs and challenges
