Job Responsibilities:
- Promote quality of nursing care as directed by the Professional scope of Practice and standards as determined by the relevant health facility.
- Provision of optimal, holistic Nursing care with the set standards within a Professional legal frame work.
- Maintain professional growth/ ethical standards and self-development, work as part of multidisciplinary team to ensure a good nursing care that is cost effective and efficient.
- Adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Display a concern for patients, promoting and advocating proper treatment and care.
Job Requirements:
- Good ethical practice and caring attitude.
- Understanding of National Core Standards and Batho Pele Principles.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Registration Certificate and SANC receipt for the current year.
- Good communication skills and report writing skills.
- Experience or no experience in nursing after registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- Basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice R425 (i.e. Diploma/ Degree in Nursing)
