Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in professional development of self, colleagues and members of the inter-disciplinary team.
- Render effective patient centered Nuclear Medicine service for in-patients and out-patients in adherence to the scope of practice health protocols.
- Perform record keeping date collection, assist with budget control and assets management. P
- Assist in or perform complex nuclear medicine procedures.
- Implement and maintain the quality assurance and National Core Standards at departmental level.
Job Requirements:
- Grade I Appropriate Qualifications that allows for the required registration with the HPCSA in Nuclear Medicine Radiography.
- Sound knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures and equipment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and methods.
- Knowledge of health and safety policies, regulations and acts.
- Sound knowledge of radiation safety and protection regulations.
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience after registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- None after registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
