GPG Vacancies Near ME – State Accountant Revenue Management

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly reports utilising the appropriate accounting system.
  • Perform the revenue collection processes in compliance with relevant prescripts.
  • Perform revenue management activities in compliance with relevant legislation, policies, regulations, framework, standards and guidelines.
  • Perform revenue management activities in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Apply safeguarding prescripts regarding all source documentation, cash on hand received and other face value documents.
  • Collate and compile the necessary document required in preparation of revenue reconciliation.
  • Capture receipts from debtors in line with the debt management process.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in revenue management. A valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of all different contract options for leases. Knowledge of Provincial/Departmental Supply Chain Management Policies.
  • National Diploma (NQF 6) / Degree (NQF 7) or equivalent in Financial Management or Accounting as recognised by SAQA or related qualification.
  • Knowledge of PFMA/ Treasury Regulations.
