Job Responsibilities:
The suitable candidate will conduct diagnostic, therapeutic and corrective procedures on patients using specialized Cardiology equipment. Candidate must be able to function independently in all procedures: ECG’s (Stress tests and Routine), Holter ECG, ABP, Echocardiography, and Pacemaker implantation and follow-ups, assist with TEE’S. Do Cardiac Catheterization procedures, TAVI, intra-aortic balloon pumping, and cover after hours Emergency Call out. Supervise students, teaching and assessments
Job Requirements:
Appropriate qualification that allows for the required registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession in Cardiology. Registration with the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in Cardiology. No experience required after registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in Cardiology in respect of RSA qualified
