Job Requirements:
- Share the values and vision of our schools on transformation, diversity and belonging
- Be vibrant and passionate about education, and able to work well within a large and well-established team of music educators in a large and thriving music departmentvoice and choir teacher
- Preferably, have at least five years experience teaching individual voice students, with a proven record of success in trinity, abrsm, unisa or rockschool examinations up to at least grade 8 level
- Preferably, have at least five years of experience conducting choirs and hold a record of success in this field
- Have an understanding of and a willingness to commit to growing the unique partnership between the diocesan school for girls and st andrew’s college
- Have good organisational and administrative skills, and have experience in organising musical groups and events
- Demonstrate willingness to support the christian ethos of the school voice and choir teacher
- Hold a degree in music, preferably having specialised in voice as a main instrument
- Be fully computer literate with the ability to incorporate technology in lessons
- Be registered with sace
