Job Description:

Broadacres Academy (Pre, Prep & High) is part of Skye Education’s family of independent schools across Broadacres (Pre- & Foundation phase), Chartwell (Senior Prep & High), Honeydew, and other new prospects in Gauteng and beyond.

Job Requirements:

• The ability to think out-of-the-box and a flexible and adaptable teaching style
• Ability and passion for co-curricular involvement in sport, cultural or administrative areas
• Knowledge in creating varied and innovative assessments, particularly under the auspices of the IEBK
• Knowledge or passion for integrating the specific subject field in an interdisciplinary Constructivist approach
• Knowledge in integrating ICT skills within the classroom and collaborative spaces

Qualification & Experience:

• Suitable prior experience in the specific subject field (preferably to Grade 12 level)
• Experience as an IEB marker, moderator and/or assessor
• A recognized degree and/or a 4-year professional teaching qualification
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in the IEB curriculum and SAGS
• 3- 5 years’ experience and training in working with the Senior and FET phases
• full SACE registration
