Job Description:
This role supports two regional managers in managing sales teams and distribution strategy. It is jointly accountable for the sales targets and performance of the teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generating new business sales.
- Formulating and implementing a branch distribution strategy.
- Fulfill a developmental/mentorship role for a team of consultants
- Managing Human Resource Capital.
- Sourcing market intelligence and incorporate information into branch strategy.
- Effectively managing change.
- Co-managing the branches by practicing sound business principles in accordance with Old Mutual and Broker Distribution’s business governances.
Job Requirements:
- Computer literate – MS suite of products (Excel, Word, Email etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and own private transport
- No criminal record
- Positive credit record
Qualification & Experience:
- Relevant management experience and/or a great track record as Business/Broker Consultant will be advantageous
- Matric and a relevant 3-year tertiary qualification and/or CFP
- At least 5 years experience in marketing/sales
- At least 7 years financial services industry experience – Investments & Insurance
- First Level Regulatory Examination (RE5) will be advantageous
