Job Description:

The key purpose of this role is to load, unload and stack Company products in a safe and productive manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Stack and unstack palletized material according to set standards
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Operate & Maintain a Forklift Truck, ensure a Safe, Healthy & Risk Free Working Environment.
• Cross functional team work with Packaging operators, PD truck drivers and Security
• Accurately account for all product movements carried out
• Carry out daily shift handovers
• Clean up breakages and removes rocker bins
• Move palletized materials from specified origin to specified destination
• Adhere to safety standards at all times
• Adhere to PPE standards
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Maintain safe driving practice
• Refuel and conducts daily FLT inspections according to checklist
• Work in Teams to achieve agreed KPI’s and goals.

Job Requirements:

• Must be certified as competent FLT Driver via a certified body
• Good eye sight in both eyes
• Grade 12 with good abilities to read, write and count
• Good verbal ability in English
• Excellent Numeracy skills
• No back problems (physically fit and healthy) and good eyesight
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid forklift driver’s license
