Job Description:

A vacancy exists for a Finance Manager – Accounts Payable, based at Head office, Dunkeld, reporting to the FSC Manager. The primary purpose of the job is to manage the Accounts Payable function although other responsibilities include accounting for the renal business and managing intercompany and non-patient debtor accounts receivable.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify potential department improvements including the efficiency of information capturing/interfacing processes within the business
• Understand and assist in management reporting tools
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, procedures & protocols within the group
• Develop and implement financial process protocols for the business
• Management of staff members including training and development of direct & indirect reportees
• Manage data integrity and compliance to LHC protocols
• Ensure complete and accurate compliance with VAT requirements
  Assist other departments where required eg SARS audits, project analysis, audits

Job Requirements:

• Computer proficiency
• Detailed financial process understanding
• Training & influential skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong management skills – preferably at least 3 years’ experience
• Ability to multi-task

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in a healthcare environment would be beneficial
• Relevant experience
• SAP experience is essential
• B Com degree
