Nampak Apprenticeship 2022 – Scrap Handler

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Safety requirements
• Able and willing to do other jobs as requested by his supervisor
• Keep slitters floor clean
• Strapping and wrapping of plate before return to Stores
• Convey scrap to scrap bins
• To ensure all off-cuts are being removed regularly
• Strap copper wire chips for general stores
• Good house keeping

Job Requirements:

• Open minded, motivated and a team player
• Mechanical skills would be an advantage
• Be prepared to work shifts and overtime

Qualification & Experience:

• Relevant experience, preferably in high-speed manufacturing environment
• Have a grade 12 minimum qualification
