Job Description:
This role is accountable for turning data into actionable insights, providing the Human Capital team with metrics and information that drives the people agenda. The incumbent utilises analytical skills, tools and platforms to source and present data enabling an environment of data-based decision making.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with relevant teams across the organisation, sourcing and mining information.
- Meet with internal stakeholder, understand their requirements and source/craft reports/analysis to address stakeholder needs.
- Source, scrub and analyse data as it pertains to Human Capital and Business needs.
- Automate reports and perform data quality checks and validates results.
- Generate and test hypotheses and provides actionable and measurable insights.
- Responsible for creating end-to-end solutions which includes problem definition, data acquisition, data exploration and visualization.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years extensive Excel experience a prerequisite.
- Detailed orientated with the ability to see bigger picture and drive initiatives to gain insights.
- Advantageous VBA and BI skill set.
- 3-5 years experience in defining and reporting on metrics and sourcing data.
- An ability to engage stakeholders across all levels within the organisation.
- 4-7 years experience in Human Capital MIS or data analytics.
- 1-2 years experience in defining system requirements in alignment with Human Capital operational needs.
- Strong relationship management experience.
- Advantageous – Work Day experience and knowledge.
