Job Description:
Applications are invited for suitably qualified persons to fill the above-mentioned vacant position in the Marula region of the Kruger National Park at Orpen Gate. The successful candidate will be expected to stay outside the park and be paid a housing allowance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily front office administration and management of the gate
- Marketing and revenue generation
- Financial control and all income and expenses at the gate
- Ensure all facilities are in good state of repairs
- Ensure that the gate staff render efficient and effective customer service
- Control of guest traffic flow in the park
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of Room Seeker Reservation system and Kruger National Park will be an added advantage
- Sound Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Security Background
- Well conversant in English
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
Qualification & Experience:
- One year of relevant experience.
- Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management
