Job Description:

Santam Specialist Business –has a position available for a Relationship Manager/ Sales Consultant who will be based in Pretoria. The person will service the Pretoria region as well as Mpumalanga and Limpopo province. Quarterly visits to brokers and intermediaries based in Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

Job Responsibilities:

• Training intermediaries and brokers in the portfolio on products and systems Servicing corporate clients
• Attending workshops, conferences or any public relations events when required – this
• The successful incumbent will be required to service, market and sell short term insurance products
• Servicing intermediaries and brokers ; this will include monthly visits , stock control, queries and claims management, monitoring, increasing and reporting sales and relationship building.

Job Requirements:

• Attention to detail and ability to analyse
• Sound Relationship building skills
• Presentation and Negotiation skills
• The ability to work independently
• Effective time management and discipline
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Qualification & Experience:

• Sales and marketing experience an advantage
• Previous work experience in an unsupervised role highly advantageous
• Tertiary education an advantage
• Minimum 2 years experience in customer relationship / relationship management in Broker environment not negotiable
• Minimum Matric
• RE accreditation
