Job Description:
We are looking for an agile and dynamic incumbent who is self-motivated and can motivate others and influence decisions to meet the requirements of a rapidly changing IT landscape. They must possess strong analytical skills and a have strong background and knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks, specifically TOGAF, to support and provide solutions to business needs and requirements. The incumbent also be be self and results-driven.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop position papers for ESM environment solutions, and obtain approval via the governance structures.
- Perform evaluation of tenders for given solutions within the ESM domain
- Analyse complex service management processes, resolve and present complex information in a simplified and structured manner.
- Consult with SARS top management and users internal and external to the EA business area for information gathering
- To develop roadmaps for the realisation of Future State Application Architectures and to do a recommendation to the stakeholder
- Performance in the definition of the business speciation’s for RFPs.
- Consult with SARS top management and users internal and external to the EA business area for information gathering.
- To define Future State ESM Architecture Landscapes, and drive application rationalisation
- Define high level solution architecture design improvements for implementation in the service monitoring environment.
- Scrutinize toolset capability and configuration to implement within boundaries and restrictions of the toolset and the frameworks.
- To define current State ESM Architecture Landscapes

Qualification & Experience:
- Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND at least 15 experience in Enterprise Architecture environment, of which a minimum of 5 years is within the ESM Architecture domain role.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems AND minimum of 8 years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture environment, of which a minimum of 5 years is within the ESM Architecture domain role
- Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND Relevant IT Qualification (s) / Certification (s), and minimum of 10 years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture environment, of which a minimum of 5 years is within the ESM Architecture domain role
