Job Description:
The primary focus is to ensure timeous and accurate execution of approved orders for exports to customers and Sasol Regions globally
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure regular housekeeping on SAP and Metro Filing.
- To provide input to management on the performance of key service providers, in order to ensure that these are addressed in SLA meetings.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with the relevant internal and external stakeholders (M&SS, DRP, outbound logistics, loading sites, C&F agents, shipping lines, isotank operators, etc.) to ensure mutual understanding of processes and smooth execution of marine exports orders and strive for win-win sustainable solutions whilst continuing to operate within the boundaries of existing systems and shipping contracts.
- Filing of export documentation, ability to maintain an audit trail with regards to documents. Up-to date and accurate filing and storage of information
- Executing exports in accordance with Letter of Credit terms and conditions
- Dispatch of accurate final shipping documents to customers within agreed lead times
- Investigation of customer complaints and implementation of corrective and preventative actions
- Compiling and forwarding accurate clearing and forward documents
- Foster a mindset of customer centricity and close cooperation with our customers and partners
- Comprehension of letters of credits
- Effective liaison with service providers as well as local and international customers and banking institutions for LC payments
Qualification & Experience:
- Knowledge of export processes and common practices – must
- Minimum Grade 12
- Minimum 4-5 Years container, isotank and/or bulk export experience
- Knowledge of SAP, MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) – must
- SHERQ export supply chain knowledge
- Certificate in Exports or related would be an advantage
