Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain standards and procedures regarding sub stations , repairs to high voltage equipment
- Perform standby duties when required
- Provide and maintain safe environment with minimum risk to the health and safety of all employees in the section
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and installation of high voltage equipment and cables in the section
- Accountable for proper discipline in the section
- Experience in winding plants, compressors, fans and conveyor belts will be advantageous
Job Requirements:
Have at least 3 years’ experience as an Electrician
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
Have shaft or winder experience
Be in possession of Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
Be in possession of a relevant Trade Test Certificate
Be proficient in Microsoft Office
Have good communication skills
Have medium voltage experience and certificate
