Sibanye Stillwater Diesel Mechanic Jobs – Supervisor Engineering Shafts

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties relevant to the position
• Prepare and manage all financial budgets relevant to the position
• Co-ordinate and conduct weekly shaft examinations
• Co-ordinate and manage the clearing of obstructions in shaft reef and waste ore pass systems
• Co-ordinate and supervise all slinging of long material
• Manage shaft tramming and shaft work operations
• Manage maintenance of the shaft, loading stations, shaft bottoms and level ore transfer systems
• Ensure full compliance to all standards, Regulations and Instructions
• Manage Vertical operations
• Effective and safe transportation of men, material and ore

Job Requirements:

• Hold a valid Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
• Have a valid Blasting Certificate
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess a valid Foreman Certificate or Production Supervisor Certificate
• Have a valid Onsetter’s certificate
• Have a valid Magazine Masters Certificate
• Have Shaft Bottom cleaning experience
• Have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Shaft Timberman
