Job Description:
takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented DC Project Manager to join our team in Cape Town.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend any project management processes and procedures for records, governance and compliance purposes
- Define tasks, project milestones and assign appropriate resources
- Manage projects risks, report to management and come up with solutions
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects delivery
- Manage and control projects budget according to the project plan
- Engagement with the professional team
- Ensure that projects plans are managed and monitored to reach project goals within the set timelines
Job Requirements:
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Comfortable with change and excellent team player
- Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems
- Strong administration skills
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in the setting, management reporting and control of budgets
- Experience in BEST OPERATING PRACTICES
- Experience in the management of staff
- 5 years field experience in Project Management
- Degree/Diploma in Project Management/ Supply Chain / Operations management / Industrial engineering / mechanical engineering
- Experience in Continuous improvement / Six Sigma
