Job Description:
takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Food Delivery Compliance Manager to join our Johannesburg Team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Corroborate projects and initiatives among team members and direct reports
- Drive new projects to innovate and improve regional and national operations
- Drive group initiatives, aligned with overall management of Franchisees and branch operations
- Understand how to determine key “levers” that drive Key Performance Indicators as determined in operations
- Inform strategies/initiatives around process improvement in operations
- Manage and delegate priorities among direct reports, aligned with overall national and regional strategies
- Determine & coordinate key strategies to drive regional and national performance
- Audit training and competencies of operational staff in franchisee branches
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) to determine strategic agenda and present to senior management
- IT or tech savvy and shows evidence of continuous learning and upskilling
- Field-based management experience
- Proven track record in operational delivery and execution
Qualification & Experience:
- 3 yrs experience in operational management environment or similar required
- Previous franchisee/client working experience will be advantageous
- Previous experience in the logistics industry is not required
- Training experience in an operational setting will be advantageous
