Job Description:
Assist with the compilation of creditor payments and review allocated departmental receipts for debt settlement in conjunction with the National Revenue Fund for transfers and payments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage institutions to recover amounts allocated to control/ suspense accounts
- Prepare management reports and other relevant information pertaining to departmental expenditure/payments
- Assist with the allocation of departmental revenue and verify payments made to the National Revenue Funds
- Compile payment requisitions and allocate departmental expenditure to the relevant beneficiaries
- Comply with relevant guidelines, regulations and departmental prescripts applicable to expenditure /payments Cash
- Advice on the reconciliation of the control accounts with the bank account as prescribed
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of transversal financial systems utilised in government (Persal/ BAS/ LOGIS).
- A minimum 2 years’ experience obtained in a financial management environment
- Knowledge of the government procurement process
- A minimum National Diploma/ B. Degree at (NQF 6-7) in Accounting/ Financial Management
