Job Description:

A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse in the MEDICAL WARD, based at Life Dalview Hospital, reporting to Fikile Dlamini, Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cooperate fully with the members of the multi-disciplinary team and independently delivering nursing care
• Provide and supervise nursing care in accordance with ethical codes that directly and indirectly guide nursing practices
• Utilise available management tools and strategies to enhance patient experience through continuing quality improvement initiatives e.g. CFS and Qe
• Utilise and supervise adherence to interdepartmental requirements with regard to stock management, case management and billing
• Provide and supervise nursing care in accordance with legislation that directly and indirectly governs nursing practice

Job Requirements:

• Computer proficiency would be an advantage
• Relevant experience and technical skill to meet the critical outputs
• Diploma in specialty if applicable
• 2 years’ Experience in Medical ward
• General Nursing Degree / Diploma
• Registration with SANC

Qualification & Experience:

• Problem-solving, analysis and judgment
• Engaging diversity
• Attention to detail
• Verbal & written communication skills
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
