Wits Health Vacancies – Medical Officer

Job Description:

To provide comprehensive medical care/clinical support to patients enrolled in treatment programs and participants enrolled into clinical trials at PHRU.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clinical trial oversight or management as designated by the Principal Investigator.
• Accurate and comprehensive medical record keeping.
• Participation in all phases/components of the research process.
• Management of patient/participant flow in the clinic.
• Provision of clinical care to patients and participants.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent clinical skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Research experience or willingness to learn.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
• Registered with MPS.
• Experience in clinical research environment will be an advantage.

Qualification & Experience:

• Being able to start work immediately will be an advantage.
• Professional body registration
• Medical Degree.
• HPCSA registration.
• At least two-year’s experience in a clinical environment (can be inclusive of internship/community service time).
