Job Description:

To counsel, screen, recruit TB patients and educating them about research and to capture study data into the electronic database

Job Responsibilities:

• To do study related duties as specified by the protocol
• Complete the case report forms
• Do proper filing of results and any other study related documents in the relevant assigned place.
• Recruitment of participants for studies
• Provide written reports to the study coordinator
• Capture study data into REDCap or any other system
• Maintaining a good working relationship with local clinic staff
• Communicate routinely with the study coordinator

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work as a member of a team
• Ability to multi-task and to work in a complex and demanding environment
• Must be detail orientated
• PDP would be advantageous
• Must possess strong organizational skills

Qualification & Experience:

• Basic Counsellor Certificate and Good Clinical Practice certificate
• Computer literacy
• At least 2 years’ counselling experience in a clinical research environmen
• Matric
• A valid driver’s license and able to drive
